This May 22nd marks the 59th anniversary of the crash of Continental Airlines Flight 11. Since the last post in 2020 the world has seen much upheaval caused by the Covid 19 pandemic. I do hope all of you are safe and healthy in these difficult times.

I was a flight attendant for Continental Airlines and flew the same route that flight 11 took. I flew with Capt. Freddie Grey and the hostess Mary McGrath many times.
I was fortunate enough to meet with a stewardess ex continental who saw Captain Freddie that night of the flight just before boarding; think she was on the nonstop service to LAX on a 720.
